Once a merino sheep pasture, the estate now hosts a thoughtfully designed residence that draws inspiration from the property’s industrial heritage, including its shearing sheds and outbuildings. Owners Pearl and Ross Blandford wanted to create a passive home filled with soul and character that could stand up and endure a chilly Tasmanian winter. They chose the Cheminees Philippe Radiante 700 to do just that.

The design of The Wool Rooms pays homage to its agricultural roots with spacious interiors that evoke the functional, industrial buildings that once stood on the property. Pearl and Ross carefully curated vintage pieces, each with a story to tell, to furnish and decorate their home.
